What better way is there to practice scissor skills than to open a hair salon?!

This activity is a fun way for your kids to practice their scissor skills and build fine motor skills. To play, cut along the dotted lines to create individual hair strands. Then cut across those strands to give your character a fun hair style. There are 12 characters included with different faces and a variety of cutting lines.  Grab the FREE activity below!

Another fun way to do this activity is to grab some construction paper, cut it hotdog style. Then cut some hair about 1/3 of the way down the top of the paper. Draw some faces on your clients and open up shop!

Missy Marlo loved seeing the different faces and cutting their hair different styles and lengths!
